I think this is the first Stan Lee Memorabilia card. There have been lots of signatures, but I don't recall there ever being another costume card.

And Stan has a sketch card in 1998's Marvel Silver Age. Talk about a trifecta!

I've got one coming. I think the show is a lot of fun. I'll share results when I get it.

Satine and Morshower VL autos, the regular parallels and inserts, Gemma ID, and Smulders costume and Allegiance insert (spoiler: she's with SHIELD).
This is a nice set, and only 5k were made. I may get another before they're gone...

I did indeed get another, and it had the autograph I wanted, so I'm really glad I did. All the other regular inserts were there, although I did get another Jemma ID which is somewhat unlucky since that's the same one I got in the other one of these I opened. Even so, no complaints, thanks to ol' Bill in the middle here. Game over, man, game over!!!

I had no idea Bill Paxton was in that show, since I haven't watched it. That's a great auto!

Bill was a pretty big part of Season 1 and got to really chew the scenery towards the end, and that's when the show was at its best.

I look at SHIELD like a comic book series. There's been around 40 "issues" so far through the 2nd season (which just ended), and I've seen all but the last two. Out of those, I'd say 10 of them were great, 25 were good, and less than 10 were only so-so, so it's a very good show overall.

Kyle McLachlan of "Twin Peaks" is pretty prominent in Season 2, so I hope they get him to sign for the Season 2 set, if there is one.

I'm glad there will be a least one more season on TV, but apparently the ratings have fallen off some this year, and even without a lot of superheroes in it, it's seems like its a costly show to produce, so I think they'll need to pick them up a bit in Season 3 to get a Season 4. We might see more cameos from the movies heroes. That would help, I'm sure...

Darn, Kyle McLachlan too?? I must rent these from Netflix. I tried watching the series when it debuted but couldn't get past the first episode. I just didn't like it. I should have toughed it out.

Haha, I just saw the last two and Kyle was great in them, one of this highlights this year like Bill was last year. Hopefully, he'll sign for this.

Now, it's back to "Twin Peaks" and Agent Dale B. Cooper for him. Time to get out of the ol' Black Lodge at last...

I quite like CC08 as the pink costume swatch really stands out.

Both boxes contained a base set and a gold parallel card.

It's the best Skye you could get, since she didn't sign this time. Even without her and Fitz, this is a good set, and is more limited than the average Rittenhouse major set, so I don't think they'll last much longer. I'm likely to get at least one more.

Take a look at your pair of gold parallels and see if you have #9, it's Agent Ward aiming a rifle.
If you do, send it to Rittenhouse for a #6.
The #9 parallel was double printed (200 were made) and the #6 not at all, a printer's error.

Rittenhouse has a trade in program allowing anyone with a #9 to send it in for a #6. Down the line, the #6 should be tougher to find and could be a nice collectible as a result of this error.

I sent in my #9 for the #6 last week and they were nice enough to include the SHIELD promo for me with it, as I hadn't written to them for one of those yet.
