I just received my two boxes of Harry Potter Memorable Moments, so here are my breakdowns:

Box 1: #813

CC2 (x2) Confused You would think there would be 1 pair per box!
BT1
R2, R5, R7, R8, R9
DC5 (Krum & Diggory)(155/275) Thumb Up Large seam running through Cedric's costume material.

And the one card I was really hoping to pull:

Maggie Smith autograph!!! Bouncey Elephant

I was VERY happy with that box!

Box 2: #1481

CC1, CC2
BT4
R1, R2, R4, R7, R9
C4 (Goyle) (150/535) Solid green
PC2 (Lupin's shirt and the Marauder's Map)(045/110) Bouncey

I really like the PC2 card, as I've yet to get a marauders map card from any set. It has some text and lines on it too, not just a circle of parchment!

I'm not sure how I feel about the base cards yet, kind of different. This is my first black and white card set (photos are in black and white) and some of the pictures are a bit dark and muddy...hard to see. A bit small too.

Overall though, I really enjoyed these two boxes! Thumb Up

Here's my case results. My first impression from the base set is that the universe is unbalanced now: I see a lot more "open quote" marks than "close quote" marks. Wink

I found the expected number of chase, but nothing particularly special (considering the numbers for the entire set). No Hermione or Minerva. On the good side, my resin box came through undamaged. I can see that shipping was one reason they decided to include only one resin box per case, at an empty weight of 2.6 kilos just for the box!

cc1-cc2... is that coin card one and coin card two? If so then that means you got the same two in every box?

Yes, each box is supposed to have a set of the coins.

You can get different results, however. I had two CC2 cards in one of my two boxes and I saw somewhere that someone had 3 of the coin cards in a box.

It was a great box, so no complaints from me! Smile

I only needed one, and would gladly swap one for a Dame Maggie. Wink

I've only seen breakdowns for 2.6% of the boxes so far, but it looks like Sykes and Bradley are the most prolific signers, and the only two autos that are showing up at two in some cases. Somebody else got "exactly" the same case as I got, down to the autos, props, and costumes. But the early reports say that the Maggie Smith auto isn't super-super-rare, and is more like the Michael Gambon auto from GOFU. Here's the reports and projections from 98 boxes:

# seen - projected to 2250 - signer

1 - 50 - Emma Watson as Hermione Granger
1 - 150 - DE3 Philip Rham
2 - 150 - DE4 Paschal Friel
5 - 150 - DE5 Olivia Higginbottom
3 - 150 - DE6 Richard Rosson
7 - 300 - Maggie Smith as Minerva McGonagall
6 - 300 - Jason Isaacs as Lucius Malfoy
10 - 500 - Eric Sykes as Frank Bryce
12 - 500 - David Bradley as Argus Filch

I assumed that the DE auto/costumes would turn out to be the same in scarcity and assumed 20% more were signed than the 1850 you'd expect from 3750 boxes. But it's still awfully early!

For once I'm hoping to get the common autos rather than the scarce ones. My boxes should arrive tomorrow and I'm hoping for a Eric Sykes auto and a Maggie Smith auto.

Just picked up a box. I received:

  • 2 base sets
  • 5 foil cards: R2, R4, R5, R7, R9
  • Coin Cards-CC1 and CC2
  • Autograph: Eric Sykes as Frank Bryce
  • Costume Card: DC1 Ron Weasley (75/310)

Nice looking set. Cards are kind of curved due to the card stock and the wrappers were tough to open though. I was actually hoping for a Jason Isaacs autograph. If anyone wants to trade for Eric Sykes, e-mail me.
