Just went to a card shop today, and they had an open box that just came delivered that afternoon. someone had already opened up over 3/4 of the box and finally stoped when they hit an autograph (he got john bowie). So, i opened up the last 10 or so packs.

1. Maud Adams as Octopussy Autograph VERY LIMITED! Dance

2. Sean Connery Arts & Images# 5 , 103/375 Angel

Not bad for only 20 dollars spent! it was Box 95 also, nice low number. had to be good luck.

This is my first box breakdown in a long while:

Opened 2 boxes

Box #1807

1 base set, many extras
Bond Allies: BA2, BA5, BA7, BA18
Bond Girls: BG31, BG42
Bond Villians: F25, F26, F30, F31
Art and Images: 2-Daniela Branchi as Tatiana Romanova 156/375
A60-Nadim Sawahia
A66-Britt Ekland

Box #1229
Haven't sorted commons yet, figure a set at least
Bond Allies: BA1, BA10, BA14, BA15
Bond Girls: BG43, BG32(Foil Damage)
Bond Villians: F22, F26, F30, F31
Art and Images: 18-Pierce Brosnan as James Bond 289/375

Was very impressed by the base set as well as the Art and Images set, very well done. Was a little disappointed after the first box, but the Famke auto made it well worth it from the second box.

Got my box 30 minutes ago - very nice cards. The base set has a large clear picture on the front of each card with a small foil 007 logo in the corner. The backs are nicely done as well, with a brief text about whats on the front of the card.

The Bond Girls, Villians and Allies are great subsets, and a nice continuation of previous insert sets.

I like the full bleed autos the best, a nice clear photo of the signer, I would like to see a simple design like this on all autographs.

Here's what I got:

1 Base set of 110 cards, with 77 commons towards a second set

4 Bond Allies - BA3, BA8, BA12, BA17

4 Bond Villains - F22,F25, F31 F36

2 Bond Girls - BG33, BG37

1 Art and Images - 14, Christopher Walken 124/375

2 Autographs -
Robert Davi
Tanya Roberts - Women of Bond Style

Thanks Rittenhouse! A Great set!

Got a box of these today and they are OK. Does anyone know why Rittenhouse wrappers are back to being one point instead of two? Kinda bummed to find that I only can add 40 points to my total instead of the 80 I was counting on. Oh well, here is what I got:

One Base Set

Bond Villains: F35, 37, 39, and 40

Bond Allies: BA2, 7, 9, and 18

Bond Girls: BG31 and 42

Art and Images: Christopher Lee-The Man with the Golden Gun

Autographs: Tanya Roberts Smile
Nadim Sawahla

I think it is a case of how easy the product will sell. One point for easy sell outs and two as an incentive for not so popular products.

Just a guess on my part though. Angel

Womble,
If you are calling your BG32 cards damaged because of the droplet of glitter on them, they're not damaged - every BG32 card, including all of my replacement cards, contain that droplet. Take care!

So Overall:
3 of 9 Very Limited Autos
3 of 5 Limited Autos
12 of 14 Normal Autos
6 Repeats (all of which were common autos)
= 18 of 28 Autos

2 Sets of Allies, 2 Sets of Villains, 1 Set of Bond Girls Are Forever and 12 different Art & Images cards.
Collation on the chase cards was very good and I was pleasantly surprised I got no duplicate Art & Images cards. However considering I had six common doubles and Very Limiteds seem to come few and far between, I think I should have at least gotten the other two common autos to complete that part of the set. And although pleased with the Andress I think one more Very Limited would have been appropriate considering how many there are and how much those are going to sell for.

The base set looks very nice, with no skimping (there is foil on the fronts - at last!) and the rears have nice faded out poster images. One problem with the base cards; many (and I mean quite a lot) were coming out of the packets with bent corners, something which did not afflict chase or autos luckily.
The packets were also a bugger to open, but I was being careful with them, I didn't bend the corners!
Also my BG32 cards all came with the bizarre glitter-glue mark (thanks for the heads-up OWM Thumb Up, you've saved me an e-mail)

TO AMEND MY POST:
I've removed the box numbers from this page because after looking at what I've got on a bit of paper and what I pulled from this case as well as some from another, what cards that came from what box before the Andress auto was a little blurry. So I'd rather not be inaccurate. Thumb Up
And after collation of the full
case I have 18 or 19 full base sets and am one card short of another. Smile
