Hello All,

I've recently been looking for promos from this CCG set and it appears that there are basically four subsets:

Spawn
Youngblood
Combo magazine
Ventura magazine

There are five Spawn promos, five Youngblood promos and four Combo promos with almost all listed in Todd Jordan's Promo Card Eecyclopedia & Price Guide 2003-2004 edition. The only one missing from his listing is the Spawn Violator promo. These promos aren't too tough to find.

On the other hand, the Ventura magazine promos are extremely difficult to find. I've only gotten one, 11V Brightblade, polybagged in the premiere issue of the long defunct Ventura The Ultimate Guide to Collectible Card Games. (I've learned that the magazine lasted only five issues.)

I have seen two others, 9V Soulfire and 198V Flaxen up for auction earlier this year.

Looking back at PCE 2003-2004, page 124, Todd has a picture of 2V Seeker and within the Powercardz listing he does have the aforementioned Flaxen and another Ventura promo Tremblor (most likely 7V if it follows the convention of the other promos having the same number of the card in the regular set). A fellow Powercardz collector also sent me a scan of 6V Time Stepper.

That would be six different Ventura cards. Does anyone else have or know of any other Powercardz promos?

Let's try this again. I have found a couple more of these promo cards. Two of these are the aforementioned 7V Tremblor and 11V Brightblade cards. I've also acquired one that I wasn't aware of previously, 10V Shrike. Does anybody have any others?7V Tremblor11V Brightblade10V Shrike

Hello Rob,

I'm just thrilled that somebody has else is interested in these cards besides me!

I have all four of the Combo promos you mentioned. Those might be the only ones from that magazine.

I haven't ever seen 40V Dominion from the Ventura promos. Can you post a pic? That would amount to 8 different Ventura promos:

2V Seeker
6V TimeStepper
7V Tremblor
9V Soulfire
10V Shrike
11V Brightblade
40V Dominion
198V Flaxen

The Spawn promos can be grouped together as four character cards consisting of Angela, Commando Spawn, Spawn & Violator and #177 Blast Big Hole.

All of these promos (the Combo and Ventura magazine promos and the Spawn promos) have the same purplish-dark blue-orangey cardbacks as the CCG Powercardz.

The YoungBlood promos have different cardbacks. They're red with blue swirls with the Youngblood 'y' logo. The Powercardz logo is a different color as well. There are 5 of these cards. You listed the first three. The other two are: P-4 Chapel & P-5 Team Support

#126 is an actual card from the Powercardz CCG set. The EXC1 Toy Spawn Exclusive & EXC2 Toy Violator Exclusive, I am unsure if they're promos or part of the Spawn Powercardz CCG. regardless, these two cards are more similar to the Youngblood promos cardbacks since the have the same Powercardz logo on the swirl pattern in purple and blue with the Spawn logo. Does anyone know for sure?

Hi Rosendo,

I tried to attache a photo about 5 times, but just would'nt work, not sure how to do it.

I loaded the photo in Photobucket, then copied the ULR for that photo, but still did'nt work, that method works on another forum i'm with.

I've tried to send you it via your email.
