That along with random sketch cards, I will focus my collecting on promo cards.

Miss Lizzy got me hooked.

It took me awhile to decide on a collecting focus, but this seems like the one to do. I have a few incoming (stuff from the 90s) but I will try to get into it hot and heavy as days and weeks go by. So at least now I can start trading off autos and costumes for sketches and promos, hehe. Not that I have a lot to trade.

And, yes, I will be buying that book soon.

Now, all I have left to figure out is a vintage set to slowly put together...

Andrew, welcome to the most challenging collecting genre of modern non sports cards. You will not get bored I promise. As far as which set to start with, I would recommend you not start with something too difficult to find. Otherwise, you may get discouraged as some of these little buggers are real hard to locate. The PCE is an invaluable tool in your quest and you should get one ASAP. I wish you great success in your endeavor

As promoking says, you will not get bored with promos. There are always new promos being found that were not known to have existed and have been around for 15 years, there are variations of many promos, and of course, new promos continue to come out.

If you like the chase, promo cards are a good place to be.

Pick up the PCE as soon as you can, but remember, it is a tool, and is missing many things itself. So if you come across something not listed, make sure you share that information with Todd Jordan so he can continue to improve PCE which benefits us all.
