Mike, I have three more of the Clinton promos not listed here. One with a close up head shot of Clinton, One with a Orioles jacket on, one with clinton, both bushes, and carter on it. There is also one that's not in the Clinton series of Jockey Smarty Jones.

Actually the Mexican cards were distributed in Dallas-Fort Worth in conjunction with a Hispanic radio station [KLNO-FM ]to celebrate Cinco de Mayo .
The Japanese cards were distributed in Hanamaki Japan , Hot Spring's sister city .

The Hot Springs Convention Center confirmed that there were a total of 7 Clinton cards released in the USA and they do not have any left.

If the email was right, there were 50,000 of each card printed and distributed..

I did forget about the Smarty Jones card. I do have that one.

Sumo, I would love to hear from you if you have any extras of the Mexican or Japanese Clinton cards.

Thanks.

Mike.

John, the one in the Orioles jacket, is that from Hot Springs as well? Or from Topps or someone else... I seem to recall seeing (maybe even having) that card.

I need to inventory my promo cards!!!!

Thanks.

Mike.

Yes it was a hot spring promo. I'm in the same boat about the inventory. The collection gotten so big its going to take forever to do one. There were a bunch of times last year I purchased cards thinking I needed them, to find out I had them already. I need a Inventory real bad. I was trying to do a Picture Inventory, but had only gotten to the C's before quitting. it just takes to much time.

That the way I was keeping track, but had so many that was not listed, after all my little notes I can't even read it anymore, it looks like a Rorschach test, all I see is butterflies and nude people.

May I suggest that you use PCE plus thumbnail pictures for all those that are not in it.

I started off sticking note pages in the book, but that did not work to well. I just need to break down and do a proper inventory.

Same here. I have about 10 albums stuffed with promos/preview sets plus another 1000 or so that are still unfiled. And that is just my collection, not including duplicates.

I rely soley on a MS Word document to tell me what I am looking for, but if it isn't on that list, I am not always 100% sure if I have it or not already. I end up making lots of duplicate purchases/trades.

I'm going to break down and do a spreadsheet, but that will probably take me years. A fellow collector is starting me off and gave me his spreadsheet (filled in). I just have to figure out a good way to update what he has and making sure the sheet does not show promos he has that I do not when I am done... Smile

Todd, PCE is great, I need it, and use it, but it does not come out often enough or have everything in it. Did you ever think of making it a 3 ring binder and issue updates via a subscription service or something instead of reprinting the whole book each time?

Mike.

Hi Mike,
Did you bid on the Star War Xizor test cards that where on ebay last night? You can't keep track of who's bidding anymore. Ebay has change to where you can't look at who bidded after the auction closes. I guess it's to keep people for emailing any winning bidders and giving then a hard time. I guess that's a good thing.
