Chick says above that the 13-28 are from volume 3, and your source says 24-28 were from vol 5. Any idea what might have been in vol 4 then?

Seems like cards after 28 might be more likely to have been found in vols 4 and/or 5. It will be interesting to see how this plays out if we can solve the mystery.

I've sent a couple of emails around to see if I can find a little more info, will keep you posted.

I don't believe that the cards came in the corresponding comics. That is, the cards which depict the Vol.3 books, for example, did not come in the Vol.3 comics. They came in the later volumes.

I looked on ebay yesterday and clearly saw some Vol.5 comics bagged with the cards, and they were cards from the mid-#20s, as I compared them with the ones I had. I believe the cards started with the Vol.3 comics, that the Vol.1 and 2 comics did not have cards inserted in them.

I looked in the Overstreet Guide and saw that the Snart 3-D comic came with 12 cards in it. But I believe that those were earlier #s.

Mystery solved ! I emailed the owner of that website that you linked to above. It was the Ralph Snart creator/artist himself, Mark Hansen, I believe his name was. He said that cards # 29-36 did not come in the comics, but were sold separately. He did not recall how they were available. He claimed that he was missing one card, himself. He advised me to check ebay or card dealers. He didn't have them for sale on his website.

I got all the Ralph Snart cards but am still working on Mr. T.

Thanks to John Levitt, we just received scans of #11 and #18, so that means we still need;

17,19,22,23,24,25 and 27-36.

I don't have any cards above # 28. I don't have a working scanner at this time but will see what I can do.
