Hi Folks,
Are there any collectors in here that collect Ralph Snart Cards?

I recently picked up several issues of the comic books that come with the cards but since they are still sealed I am in hopes that someone might have the cards that came with issues 1,2,3 and 4 that could provide me scans so that I dont have to open the sealed comics to get at the cards.

I would be happy to offer something in trade for the time spent.

There are actually 28 different cards that came in the Ralph Snart Comic Books. Cards #1 to 4 are from Volume 1; cards #5 to 12 are from Volume 2; and cards # 13 to 28 are from Volume 3. It is a difficult set to complete. I still need card #26. If my scanner was working properly I would send them to you.

The best way of completing the set is to track down the comics themselves, which can be done.

A much tougher set to complete, IMO, is the Mr.T set by the same company. The reason being is that you need to obtain 2 copies of every issue to get all of the cards, as the newsstand versions have different cards than the direct (comic store) books. The newsstand ones are much tougher to find. And the way they did it, the odd numbered cards are in one, while the evens are in the other. So for example, card #1 came in the direct #1, card # 2 came in the newsstand version of comic #1, etc. etc.

That's pretty much how I have been tracking down the Ralph Snart cards too. I have found it much easier to find the original comic books that come with the cards than actually trying to find the cards by themselves.

After all this time, I figured I was only person who collected these. All mine are still in the bag so I can't help you with scans but I always wondered how many there were total. Thanks for the info and the trip down memory lane!

I've always been intrigued by these since I first saw them. They always reminded me of the the 'Rat Fink' character Smile

Many of the ones I have are also still in the sealed bags too, which is why I was hoping to find someone that has them outside the bags to get some scans. Since I am not as interested in the comic books themselves I may just end up slitting them open and getting the cards anyway so I can put them in our gallery. But I am hopeful that over the course some other followers might come through...will keep you posted...

You all are right about finding the Ralph Snart comic books to get the cards but I have found the same card in different books. It was not one card unique to one book.

Concerning the Mr.T cards I have 17 that are numbered and I believe at least 3 with no numbers. Are there more than that??

On the Mr.T cards, the #ed ones go up to # 17. I have not seen anything higher than that. In my experience, the earlier numbers are easier to find, because I guess as the comic became less popular, and was eventually cancelled, there were less of the latter issues printed.

On the Ralph Snarts, they go up to #28

I picked up these all in one lot ages ago and have never come across any since.

it actually details that there are actually 36 cards total in the series...

The images are a little small and you dont get to see the actual backs of the cards themselves, but it is a great visual reference.

That was a great Ralph Snart page. Now I have to find the other 8 cards.
I am sure most people are aware of some of the following sets/cards but I thought I'd list them anyway-

Fanta Comics- set of 7

From Ice Cream Bars- X-Men Fact Files- set of 12

Inks Comics- set of 5

New Breed Comics- at least 13

Jurassic Park Toys/Figures- Red Border set and Blue Border set- both have 66 cards

Godzilla Figures- Red/orange border set and Black border set- total unknown

Salerno Cookies: Dinosaurs- 12 cards and a hologram set too

Blue Comet Press (Comics)- set of 8

X-One Force Comics- set of 6

Wildcats figures- 32 cards from small figures and 4 from the large figures-I need number 14

Vans Shoes: Extreme Sports- 2 promo sets from the mid 1990's; the cards were given out in cellophane packs and/or in a wrapper. 64 cards and 44 cards

Any idea on the total number of promos for Dino Hunt (widevision)? I have 31 cards

Kenner Action Masters metal figures came with cards. I never saw the Snowtooper, the second Luke Skywalker, and the Chewbacca figures/cards.

Cards Illustrated Magazine was issued with cards. Were the following ever made- Wetworks #10, Extreme Studios #10, Cyberforce #9, and Bone #6??

Topps Comics had numerous card sets inserted. Were the following cards ever made?- Satans Six-#5,10 and Secret City Saga #11

I need various cards from the above mentioned sets

Thanks to some great folks, I have been able to locate very nice scans of the Ralph Snart cards of numbers;

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,12,13,14,15,16,20,21 and 26

That means we still need;

11,17,18,19,22,23,24,25 and 27-36.

We will add the recent scan acquisitions to our galleries if anyone is interested in seeing them in full.

I was stunned to see that link with scans of Ralph Snart cards #29-36 ! The author states that the cards came in the comics through Vol.5. However, I checked around and the Vol.5 books I saw contained cards #24-28. So I wonder where he found them...

Chick, to answer your question, Bone #6, Cyberforce #9, Extreme #10 and Wetworks #10 all exist. Those cards were incentives to comic book stores by Cards Illustrated. I have them all.
