I came across a promo card recently that I had not seen before and was not in PCE, The Non-Sport Encyclopedia or NSU.

It is from The Munster's made by Dart Flipcards in 1997 and the card number is "SPECIAL".

The best that I can determine, the card was ceated by Dart for the cast members of the show to use for signing at various conventions and other public appearences.

Since learning of ths card, I have seen signed versions of this by some of the shows stars so they have been used for that purpose.

It does have a space to be a signing card.

Very interesting. The plot thickens. I got mine from the son of Pat Priest who was also the Manager or some position for Al Lewis while he was alive.

I was told the ones that I got were used to sign autographs for at conventions. Most people sign on the front, so maybe Dart figured that out and put text on the back. Who knows at this point?

Unfortunately I cannot rembember where or when I acquired mine and until you posted your card I thought I had just a card that was not listed yet alone the rationale for it.

I have this Munsters SPECIAL promo that Mike is writing about. Dino Frisella (formerly DART FlipCards) would know the story behind both these Munsters promos. Wonder if Roxanne would still know how to contact him?

Yep, its a cool promo but I sure wish I had the Munsters promo that John Levitt just revealed to us (hint, hint, wink, wink...)
