The cards are nicely done and sponsered by the serious Mego Collectors on the site. They have no desire to profit off the cards or the site!

The hardest part was the Starter set but I was logged on right as the moderator posted a few sets and got one.

I later got some extra monster cards and posted them for trade and they were spoken for within minutes!

Only problem is now I am playing with Mego's and my hobby and toy budget is shrinking! Smile

I want to tell everyone that the monster cards are available and they look great. I've got a set and some to trade.

Yeah, and right now the big discussion in the forums is why Brian and Scott don't reprint certain short print cards so that everyone can have access to them.

I borrowed this scan from a posting on the Mego Museum. I thought everyone should see the backs of the original and reprinted Superman and Spiderman (#1 and #2) cards. The fronts are identical.

These images have some watermarks in them to prevent copying! Smile I'll scan my own cards and replace this image when I get some time...

Mike.

During the Mego Meet in early June, a few other cards surfaced. #87 - Davey Crockett, 2 more Plaid Stallions cards (#3 and 4), a reprint of Wonder Woman (#3), and The Phantom card from Cast-A-Way Toys. There will be cards in the upcoming action figures from Cast-A-Way Toys, but this one is different from my understanding.

Thanks for the scan Michael.

Mike.

While filing away a few cards this morning, I noticed a variation in card #66 - Red Haired Dracula. The one that I have, appears to have used a Royal Blue ink, and I also have one that used a navy blue ink. Of course the navy blue card is a lot darker than the other.

I think you can see the difference in the scan.

Mike.

Joanna, I do not have an extra, but I hear that Cast-A-Way Toys will be at San Diego and might have these there. You might bug one of the regulars to look out for one for you.....

Mike, thanks for posting the scans of those cards! I found out that the Phantom cards were made up a year ago. There will be another new card distributed with the Phantom pre-order. I'll try to get information if the cards will be distributed at the San Diego Comic Con.
