Mego Museum has already announced the next series of their cards. My understanding is they are not even printed yet, but have announced the first card of the next batch.

Looking forward to these!

Mike. Smile

Ok this will be my next chase, try to follow up the Mego Museum set. I have a few but still need a lot. And if they are starting with horror figures I certainly need them. Hopefully there will be a Freddy Krueger one.

BLUE haired Frankenstein??

And since this is a minor pet peeve of mine, that is NOT Frankenstein. That is Frankenstein's monster. Frankenstein was the doctor who created the monster. (Yeah, I know...it's pointless to gripe about it, yet here I am.)

Did Mego make a Freddy Krueger figure in the day? If not, then I doubt there will be a card. If so, probably will be.

From the best that I can tell you do not get the Planet of the Apes or any other future cards such as Mad Monsters by being signed up. The offer at the time was the Star Trek cards with sign up and I guess that is all that it was for.

I went to the page. I can not find how to request the cards. I never got the Star Trek cards, but the Ape and monster cards are right up my alley. Can anyone help me?

I went all over the site and there is no Contact Us link and seemingly no way of contacting them at all except via the chat forums.

Stewart and Todd,

On this page are the email addresses of the "people in charge":

About Us Page

Again, I doubt they are just going to send you the cards. I think you will have to "beg" on the forums like I am to get them....

After signing up you have to wait for a moderator to approve you for posting. you should be all set in a day or two. Regarding the cards, check Ebay for starter sets posted by "palitoy". Trading is encouraged and the site is active with people wanting to help. Beware! The Superman and Spider-man cards are next to impossible to get in a trade. I may have a couple extra POTA cards that I will hold for you. Monster cards are not out yet. See you Friday or Saturday.

Bill,

The last auction that I saw for the starter kits said they were discontinuing the practice.

I think it is a shame if they do...

I have been active over there. Got my starter set end of January and with some great trades and some freebies almost have an up to date set. Just trying to find 2 of the first 4 cards which had low print runs.

Buying and selling on eBay is a no-no in there eyes as the cards are freely given away and most importantly traded. I have sent cards from the US to the UK, Belguim, Portugal and Italy.

I like the active trading aspect and value these cards more and have made some new contacts. Also have a greater appreciation for the Mego's that I didn't have as a child.
