I have finally managed to lay my hands on a P1 for the Buffy Men of Sunnydale set (via eBay) and I have a couple of questions - was this card particularly difficult to get at the time of release and is it printed on some sort of extra glossy metallic-ish card stock? The card I have looks ever so pearlescent - I'm not doubting it's authenticity, but it looks different compared to the other MOS promos I have (the P2, Pi, PUK and P-SD) - it's not the full-on foil look of the NSU variants, but it does have that look of something other than regular card stock.
I've also noticed that it isn't in the NSU prce guide (I HAVE reported this via the Price Guide Changes link!), which is why I asked if it was particularly difficult to get (I did a search on here and all I could turn up was a post from Andy @ Inkworks saying that they may have run out of the P1 when sending out the Pi! )

You are right- it's not in the price guide.

I used to own the P-1 and seem to remember a different 'feel' to it.

Strange. Right now, I don't even know for sure what it looks like.

I just looked at mine and yes, it does have a sort of pearly effect to it- I guess they must have used a different card stock for it, but it does look great.

yeah... I'm now regretting not keeping it.

It was a nice card to have.

i have had a few p-1's if i known you needed would of sent one and yes its a bit glossy.
