Several posters suggested we have a thread solely for members to post an image of a card so that others can identify it. This was suggested in the Suggestions & Requests forum. So let's give it a try. Post your promo card pictures/scans below with anything else you can to help us help you in identifying your cards. Let's try and keep off-topic discussion to a bare minimum in this thread.

Does anyone know anything about these cards. I've had this in my unknown promos not knowing anything about it.

Image is not showing up, looks like you'll have to paste it in your address bar.

I have this card in my promo collection but.... I don't think it's a promo. I ran across the set for sale and it had this card in it. I didn't compare the card in the set to the "promo" to see if there were any subtle differences as was common in the early nineties. So for now until someone says otherwise, it's probably not a promo but rather a sample card from the set.

Good News! The cards in the set have the name of the horse in GOLD LETTERS. So, if yours is not written in gold, you have a newly discoverd PROMO.
Thanks Harris for allowing this new section!

Here's two that I would like to know what there are, Promos or from a set cards. I never been able to find them listed anywhere so I kept them thinking they could be promos.

well the one on the bottom left from the set DACTYLS. It's not an official promo. The other is titled the same as the back says "Canadian Museum...". Both are singles from their respective sets.

The Larry Lawson's Whitetails is from a set. I talked to him a couple years ago about getting some promos of his sets, he said there were no promos, just the sets.

Anyone know anything about these? Would you consider them promos?

I found these at a local hobby shop today. Surprised me they had any non-sport cards at all. Mostly gaming cards.

Thanks.

Mike

I would most certainly consider them promos, in the same vein as the Clinton Library cards, although these seem to be promo cards for Ollie's Senate run a few years ago.

Nope it is not part of the set, at least as pictured there.
