Recently, I've been getting caught up in the WitchBlade cards and came across what was described as a 'Convention promo card' but it looks holographic or holofoil... I'm really not sure.

I'm going to post a pic for further reference but I can't find anything in the NSU about a 'convention' promo card for WitchBlade.

I know a picture of the card would be more helpful but I thought I'd get a jump on this and see if anyone knows anything about this card or any other WitchBlade promo cards.

It is the Witchblade Millenium Convention promo which has a foil effect on the card, except for that effect, it is identical to one of the Diamond or one of the Wizard promos (sorry, I am not at home, so I can't check). Hope this helps.

Oh good, this card is the Convention 2000 card and is the same as the W1 card except that it has a foil refractor finish.

It's a really nice card. The one shown is a spare and is for trade if anyone wants it.

So that's what it's called -'foil refractor finish'- I'll never get used to the terminology, I guess.

Just to confuse you again very few foil cards are refractors.

Foils are just shiny, refractors are the ones that have all the rainbow colors in them when tilted into the light.

Now I understand why some of my foil cards reflected the light so well. Especially my Buffy season 6 promo card.
