What is "Open That Box" day?

For those of you on Facebook, I set up an Open That Box! day event today, so you can "RSVP" if you'll be participating there or here. Several people have done so already and a couple have left comments as well. The link below should take you there (though you might have to be signed in first):

Now I got nothing for April the 4th

...okay, I bought 2 boxes of Galaxy 4 and "intended" to open one and save one for my 3rd Open That Box Day...

...but...just couldn't hold out...

...got to go back and see what's available...I did see an old LOTR Masterpieces 2 box but it was a bit $$$$...I just don't have any willpower when it comes to a factory sealed Hobby Box staring at me all evening....

Well, Sheri & I are all set for OTBD.

I still have a Star Wars Galaxy 4 Retail box, and 3 boxes of Battlestar Galactica: Season 3.

Sheri just picked up a case of Supernatural: Season 3, she'll hold back 3 or 4 boxes I think for OTBD. She also has a ox of Stargate SG-1: Season 8 set aside.

That's why last year I bought a box at the last moment the mall was open the night before, then stayed up till 12:01 a.m. on OtBD to open it. I have no willpower at all.

I had just received a Red Sonja box and was going to try to keep it till OTB day so I'd have two boxes to open. But since it took so long for Red Sonja 35th to come out I couldn't wait any longer so I just had to open it. Breakdown has been added to breakdown thread.
It's good thing I hid FF archives!
