One of my christmas gifts was the Star Trek Celebrating 40 Years DVD Movie Collection box with all ten movies: Star Trek 1-2 as the director's editions and Star Trek 3-10 as the special editions.

Inside the box were also 6 cards with images of one of the following ships:
USS Enterprise (movie version), Enterprise-A, Enterprise-C, Enterprise-D, Enterprise-E and the USS Excelsior.

The cards are a little bit bigger than post cards.

I don't know why there's no card with the Enterprise-B on it Confused

Isn't the Enterprise B an Excelsior class ship? Maybe they included the Excelsior accidentally, and meant to include the B?

You are indeed correct Jason..... here's a picture, they look almost identical....

The Enterprise-B was launched under the command of Captain John Harriman from a drydock orbiting Earth in 2293. The ship was christened with a bottle of Dom Pérignon, vintage 2265. Honored guests aboard for the ship's maiden voyage included Captains James T. Kirk, Montgomery Scott, and Commander Pavel Chekov.

Wasn't the excelsior Captained by Captain sulu?

PS: Cool cards by the way Smile you lucky thing!!

I thought the same. The Enterprise C could only been seen in one episode of TNG and not in one single movie. So why should they produce a card with an image of each Enterprise starship, but then not one of the Enterprise B? But I'll not complain.

In Star Trek III Captain Styles was the commander and in Star Trek VI Mr. Sulu.

By the way: Thank you for the nice pic of the Enterprise B Smile

[Trek Nerd mode] Well, they would - they used the same model, retouched to differentiate between the two. [/Trek Nerd Mode]
