Hello!

Friend gave me this 6 card promo pack of Top Trumps Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Some theaters may have given these out as promos.

Actually, I have one last pack left and would be happy to send to you. Not sure if I kept your address, can you send again?

I saw an advertisement for this at a local theater while I am visiting my parents for the holiday weekend. The theater is part of the Reading Cinema chain and they are giving out these packs of Top Trumps to anyone who buys any size popcorn, any size drink, and an M&M product at the concession stand. I got one and may try to get another if I see another movie this weekend.

I took my son to see the film today, the popcorn queue was a bit long so looks like we missed out on that one Frown

My 6 year old son came out the film then told me he thought the first one was better. Where's the gratitude???

Ok. Good to know. The TT cards are either feast or famine. Still got plenty the Indiana Jones 6 pks fromlast year and can't get rid of them, but got a very small supply of the Transformers this year. Roll Eyes

Ok, so I am wondering.....who has obtained these Tops Trumps sample packs??? I managed to convince a Cinemark movie theatre worker-bee to let me have one pack (even though he was quick to remind me I was supposed to buy the Kids pack). The sample pack had 8 cards….one card with instructions on how to play the game with only 6 cards, one card advertising the full 30-card deck at Barnes & Noble, and six play cards: Bumblebee, Ravage, Hummer H2, Ratchet, and two Corvette Stingray cards. My questions are: has anyone gotten DIFFERENT cards in the sample packs, and are these same cards found in the 30-card deck? I guess I don't understand fully how the Tops Trumps cards work (i.e. is the deck always the same? Can you buy booster packs? etc....)

All the sample packs will contain the same cards.

All the 30 card decks will be the same. This applies to the USA set. Sets done for the UK or some other country may have diffrent cards.

There are no booster packs, the deck is the entire thing.

Sometimes a special card is made which is not in the deck to be given out with a dvd or something like that.

Following on from what Wolfie said about the G.I. Joe sample mini-set, here is a shot of it - I understand it is going in to US Cinema's around August 7th, handed out in a similar way to the Transformers sample sets.

The sample mini-pack contains 6 cards taken from the main deck of 30 cards, which are Duke, Neo-Vipers, Storm Shadow, James McCullen, General Hawk and Breaker.

Also in the US will be a similar sample pack, handed out I understand at Special Screenings and competitions etc., and this mini-set will replace Breaker with an exclusive supercard of Cover Girl.

I've popped a picture of the open US sample set on the New Promo Card Releases Top Trumps thread.

I've got 2 more packs of the TT Transformers and Indy card packs.

The first two emails get them and need to send a SASE.

I have 7 of packs of these.
SASE for 1.27 which is the actual cost to ship.

Mr. E, G-Man23 and Wolfie are first in line so there are 4 packs left.
