I apologize if this has already been reported on another thread, but here goes……
For the Transformers film, I have spotted several promotions worth mentioning…..
First, 7-11 is at the tail-end of a lenticular Slurpee 4-cup promotion. The promotion includes the cups; 4 cool collectible straws; and a fifth small, non-lenticular cup that has several peel away stickers. To see the promotion, click on this link (don’t know how much longer this will last): SLURPEE TRANSFORMERS
Secondly, you can pick-up a cool, lenticular gift card at Blockbuster. The card alternates between ”Bumblebee” and “Ravage”. Here is the card…..
Next, Mars has a few promotions going on, which you can read about at this link: PRESS RELEASE. Snickers has put out a Bumblebee-themed alternate to the regular candy bar. Below is an image of it, but if you look carefully at the image, you will notice there are FOUR different wrappers. Even though they look, mostly, the same, you will hopefully notice that on the bottom of the wrapper are four different “Bits & Bites”. This wrapper is 3 of 4. Also, Mars also has a large M&M’s promotion which includes several different wrappers for the regular retail candy (Wal-Mart had a set of 5 wrappers, but there is also a set of 7 at other, as yet undefined stores), several collectible tins, several T-shirts, and a cute Bumblebee M&M figurine made of Lego-quality plastic (supposedly there are other figurines – I have only seen them online). I saw all of these items last night at the Times Square M&M’s store, but I have only seen the regular candy wrappers sets at regular shopping stores. To see all of the M&M merchandise, other than the amateur images below, go to this link: M&M's Transformers Website.
Here is the Snickers bar. You can find them, for sure, at Walgreen’s.
Here is a 5 of 5 wrapper, which is a reproduction of one of the 5 I bought at Wal-Mart…..
And this image of “Barricade”, if you look carefully, is of a wrapper that is allegedly 6 of 7…..
This wrapper of “Star Scream” is 5 of 7…….notice how similar the artwork is to the one above. We need some more info on why there appears to be two different sets of wrappers!!!
Hope this helps some of you!! ……Geoff

I saw $2.00 sticker sets at Target or Walmart that have a cardboard backer with a slightly oversized trading card. 10 different cards so that would be $20 for a complete set.

There are also 10 different GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra sets. Hopefully these will hit the clearance racks in a few weeks/months.
