I have no expertise in promotional cards, but came across this news item in an email newsletter I'm subscribed to - sorry if this is old news, but I got a giggle out of seeing trading cards mentioned


Disney Transportation Collector Cards are being distributed by transportation cast members around the World. The 18 different cards highlight the three modes of transportation on Walt Disney World Resort property -- watercraft, monorail and bus. More than 200,000 cards have been distributed since they were introduced in June 2006

These showed up on Ebay last fall and went for fairly hefty prices. I managed to get a set of the cards, but not from an auction site.

Very hard-to-get and very popular, both within, and outside of Disney.

I thought something had been posted about these, but my Card Talk searches come up empty.
