These cards were given out at WIZARD WORLD, MAR 14-16 2008 in Los Angeles, CA. I searched but didn't see where anyone had posted this info. If I missed it, I apologize. The cards are 3" X 5" and come in a holder with a stick of gum. These appear to be nicely done. I haven't gotten mine in the mail yet but I am looking forward to getting them soon.

Cecil

These have been mentioned on CT, but I don't think in the promos area.

I have a set, nice cards... The only problem is they are oversized making them hard to store.

Forbidden Kingdom is a movie currently in theatres here in the USA starring Jet Li and Jackie Chan.

The plot summary for the movie is:

An American teenager who is obsessed with Hong Kong cinema and kung-fu classics makes an extraordinary discovery in a Chinatown pawnshop: the legendary stick weapon of the Chinese sage and warrior, the Monkey King. With the lost relic in hand, the teenager unexpectedly finds himself traveling back to ancient China to join a crew of warriors from martial arts lore on a dangerous quest to free the imprisoned Monkey King.

I actually saw the movie last weekend. I enjoyed it. There is a great fight sequence between Jackie Chan and Jet Li about half way through the movie. It has lots of humor as well, all in all a fun movie time. I found out about the cards through a phone conversation with someone i used to trade with years ago. I then searched the auction site and found the cards being sold there. I hope to have mine in hand by Wednesday or so.

I finally got my set. Very nice cards!! I'll have to find some postcard sleeves so I can store them in my promo binder.
