By now, some of you may know that this week's TV Guide (Nov 12-18) features four collectible covers on "Heroes". If you haven't seen them, you can do so by checking them out here: http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/heroes/281246

Now here is my question for you guys: under normal circumstances, the newest TV Guide is supposed to hit the newsstands on the Thursday of the previous week or, at the very latest, on the Friday night before the week of the magazine's run. For some reason, here in Boise Idaho, the stands in all the stores (gas stations, Wal-Mart, Fred Meyer, grocery stores, drug stores, etc.) are still featuring the previous week's magazine, the one with Ugly Betty on the cover.

Has anyone else in the country seen this problem? Any theories? My wife suspects the writers' strike, but if that were the case, IMHO, we should have seen something announced on TV Guide's site.......

Been looking but no luck here either in Maryland...

They've been out up here since last week. Seen them in the grocery stores and Walmarts. So it seems to be regional rather than national.

Looked everywhere I went Friday, Saturday and today. None around here at Wal Mart, Giant Food, Safeway...etc. Just found some at Hallmark Store. They had about 7 copies but only one complete set-(mine now). The tough one seems to be the Cheerleader of course..

My luck has really stunk in this city for collectibles. Aside from the constant headaches I have had in chasing down the Wacky Packages & GPK bonus boxes at Wal-Mart since 2005, now I have been pulling my hair out over this TV Guide disaster. Here it is Tuesday, and most stores have STILL not replaced last week's Ugly Betty issue ending on Sunday, Nov 11th. So far, only Albertson's and Rite Aid's have stocked the new 4-cover Heroes issue, but nothing at the 7-11's, Wal-Mart, Shopko, Fred Meyer, or Walgreen's. Add to my misery that whoever stocks Albertson's has only stocked it with the Ali Larter cover, and the Cheerleader cover is the only one that can be found at Rite Aid. What a drag.
