Hey guys, long time since I've been on. Don't have much money to spend on cards so my motto at the moment is, 'what I don't see, I don't know I want' Big Grin

Anyway, I was in doing my shopping at my local Woolies(Woolworths) yesterday which have a promotion on at the moment if you spend $20 in store you get 1 card (that's right only 1).

They're a little bit smaller than the usual card, 6cm high and 5cm wide.
There are 42 to collect and you can buy a folder to go with them in store.

Each card, I've only opened one so far, seems to have three images of the same character on them. I've tried to take a picture of each to show you.
Anyway, I just thought there might be a few people interested and since it seems no one else has started a thread, I figured I would.

Those are way cool. I have got to get hands on those. Only $20 per card. Ouch.

Not sure if anyone is still interested, but I thought I would show pics of my completed set. Yep I was able to complete it, with huge help from family all over the state sending them to me when they received any.
Photos were a bit difficult to take because of the way the folder holds the pages. Hopefully you can see them clearly enough.
The hardest part was finding a folder in mint condition, as 99% of them were all banged up on the corners, but it was worth it because the cover is a big lenticular picture stuck on which looks cool Smile

I put a piece of paper behind the plastic pages so you can clearly see the cards for the photos, otherwise it looks like this.

My favourites would have to be the Shrek and Puss in Boots cards, they're just too cute Big Grin

Thanks Wolfie, I'm happy I was able to complete the set. While I wouldn't normally keep a set like this, because my extended family (including one amazing Great Grandmother and Great Aunt) it holds lots of sentimental value for me now.

Congrats - not just on the complete set & album, but all the memories associated with it as well.

So the cards fit in between 2 activity pages for the subset. Cool! NO wonder it is so hard to find an album. Now I have to try even harder to get one.

It seems Woolworths is on a kick with adding promotional stuff at the check-out. First it was trading cards for Australian Animals (there were two different sets for them, one red and one green) then these Dreamworks cards, and now they have a new promotion which is about Jamie Oliver (the chef) which includes stickers that you collect and put in a folder.
Haven't got any of them yet, so no photos, but I'll see if I can find a promotional shot.
