I recently visited a Toys R Us and saw that there are Topps regular sized trading cards exclusively packaged in toys and action figures of the new Terminator Salvation movie from Playmates Toys!

From what I could tell, if a character is available in both 3 3/4" and 6" sizes, they both come with the same card. Also, the Marcus and Battle Damaged Marcus figures include the same card. I don't know if these are exclusive cards or part of the regular set.

These cards are "exclusives", I picked one up today to see if it was a base card or indeed a card specific to the toy ilne. Turns out it is actually a promo card, promoting the Topps set. Here is a scan of the back:

Wolfie,

I looked at Toys R US's web site last night and the smaller figures are $6.99 US each and the 6 inch figures are $9.99 US each.

I picked up 6 of the 7 today. Could not find Barnes. Also have to relook at the T-1. I swear the larger figure had a different card in it than the smaller figure. I was pushed on time and did not have time to snoop around and figure it out.

Here is a scan of my 6 cards. Top row card #'s 3, 2, 1, second row 6, 5, 4:

I was at Wal-Mart today and noticed that none of the larger figures had cards. So either they were only in early cases or Wal-Mart is getting different cases.

These are not exclusive to Toys R Us, as the local comic book store I went to had them with the cards. He obtained them from Diamond.

However, he only had 4 in his cases: T1, T600, T700, and T.RIP. He didn't get Marcus, Connor, or Barnes, for some reason.

Are you sure there are 7 cards ? I went to Toys R Us and they had hundreds of the figures.

There are 6 small figures ($6.99 each). I looked at them all, but there were only 6 different cards. While most figures correspond with the card (e.g. T-700 figure comes with the T-700 card), all of the Barnes figures I saw came with the T-1 card. I did not see any Barnes cards. Also, there is no small T-1 figure.

Also, the larger figures ($11-12) have the same cards, but they don't match the figures. I saw the T-1 card in several different figures.

Maybe the Barnes card doesn't exist. I just assumed every figure came with a corresponding card.

The only ones I have seen are the 6 that Mike posted scans of.

Mike, I believe that the larger figures had the same cards. I looked at all of the ones Toys R Us had (alot !) and didn't see any different ones.

David, I hope you are right so I don't have to buy any more figures! Smile

I might drop by TRU one day this week just to double check.

Thanks.

Mike.

I checked again at TRU today. The larger T-1 and the smaller Barnes figures both include the T-1 card. So it seems that there are 6 cards total.
